The Digital Legacy Association (DLA) is the professional body dedicated to end of life care in all areas relating to digital assets and digital legacy. Their mission is to help ensure that everyone’s end of life wishes are met both in the real world and the digital realm. They do so by supporting the general public and by developing standards, frameworks and toolkits with charities and organisations that address end of life.
Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG is a membership organisation involving 84 GP practices. We are responsible for spending over £2m a day on healthcare for our circa 575,700 registered patients across the Sandwell and West Birmingham area.
It is hoped that Tablets Against Loneliness will encourages hospices, care homes and NHS trusts to use tablets with patients and community groups whilst social distancing measures are in place.
